A Lot of Things, Little Time
A quick update and where I've been

So about the blogs...
It's been a good minute since I updated this page and I wanted to explain why. I'll break it down into three separate reasons.
1) Medical Fun
Towards the end of July I developed an abscess and was out of commission for a good week and a half. Good news it's fully healed and infection has cleared. The not so good news is the very next weekend I tested positive for Covid. The first few days of it were awful, I felt so lethargic and achy. Even rolling over in bed was a pain. Luckily after day 3 it started getting better. However, I did miss a Rainbow Market due to this which was sad because I absolutely adore the markets.
2) Working 9 to 5 wooo...
I am back to full time work now so that means less time to make dice. I knew this was going to happen and I was hoping to use that last week off to cook up some new stuff, but sickness sucks. I do have a few sets that I did finish that just need to be photographed. Hoping to do that soon.
3) Burn Out
I hate to say it, but I definitely am feeling the burn out. As much as Dice making is a passion of mine, when there's that constant nagging drive to do better and make more it can wear you down. Couple that with my fear of success, I know right, and suddenly I don't want to do anything and the motivation is gone. When I started making dice I planned on turning it into a business, from the start I knew that and I wanted to offer only my best sets. I've reached a point where that is not a dream but a reality. Being fully transparent, this site and my work is a business, I want it to at least break even, but I've also come to the decision I also want to have fun with it. If in the end its just fun then I'll be content.
